 Shinshoji Temple and its Japanese garden

Naritasan Temple is the second most popular religious spot in the entire Japan. It is known for the daily service of "The Rite of Holy Fire", which has been held a few times a day for over 1000 years.  Temple architectures represent master works of Edo period craftmen and carpenters.

 

The garden annexed to the temple complex is just ideal for lazy strolling for easing your mind and muscles. If you are fortunate, you will appreciate the beauty of seasonal flowers like cherry blossoms, irises, hydrangea, osmanthus, and fall foliage.

Boso Village Park

Feel and experience the way Japanese Samurai used to live in a rural village. Armor try-on must be arranged in advance.

 we will also visit a Shinto shrine nearby, to see the difference between the Buddhist temple and the Shinto shrine. Here you will find the largest linga in Japan worshipped by local people for fertility.

The World Tallest Buddha
in Ushiku Town

Duration: 3.5 hours 

 
The world tallest standing Buddha statue can be viewed from an approaching plane in the sky. The Guiness certified monument is incredibly massive and impressive looking up from its feet.   
 Along the route, we will make stops at a local produce market, a local farm house, a botanical garden (subject to flowers in season), and drive through the beautiful country side with rice paddies and green hills.

Are you an early riser? If so, are you ready to start the tour at 5:00 am?

We can take you to the exciting scene of Tuna Fish Auction at the  Narita Fish Market.

Although the scale of it is only 1/10 of Tsukiji Market in Tokyo, you can still feel the ambience of the exciting action in motion. We also attend the first service at the Naritasan Temple after the fish market. Ask for detail via E-mail.
