Policy & philosophy
We want to be a rainbow bridge (niji-no kakehashi) to connect Japan and
the rest of the world.
One of the principle we hold in our society is called "Wa", literal
translation meaning 'circle', but actually it means far beyond. We have
been taught not to disturb the balance or equibilium where our life is
on. If there is turbulance or disturbance, community members become responsible
for bringing back to the original state of homeostacy. In other words,
Japanese don't like to argue or quarrel in public. This behavior pattern
is often misunderstood by the people of other culture as cunning, indecisive,
evasive, and such. It is seemingly so, but it does bring harmony to the
soceity. By showing our lives here in Narita through our tours, we hope
you will appreciate what we have accomplished and achieved in the last
2 millennia, which, I believe, have a chance to bring about, or at least
give a hint, to the ultimate world peace.
